HEALTH CARE

Since 1999 we have been assisting the people in the Bunkpurugu District of Ghana with mobile clinics. Over this time thousands of people have been treated for free and provided with all the medicines needed to treat their conditions. “Every 30 seconds a child dies from malaria - in Africa…one in every five (20%) childhood deaths is due to the effects of the disease.” World Health Organization, 25 April 2007.

CHILD WELFARE

Ghana is a nation of youth. 37.8% of the general population (@ 24 million) are 15 years of age or younger. Infant mortality is @ 5.2%! These children have many needs: health care, safe drinking water, education and most importantly - the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Lord’s church in Ghana is helping to care for children in so many ways.
